A New You in 2011!

As an expert in face and neck rejuvenation, Dr. Yang knows that the same surgical approach does not work for every patient or fit each patients individual needs. For this reason, we are promoting several additional procedures for 2011 to provide you with even more cosmetic surgery options than ever before. Below is a list of our newest procedures that we offer, all of which can be done in our office without the need for general anesthesia. The option of having these procedures done in the office not only reduces cost for the patient, but allows the patient greater flexibility for scheduling their procedure.

Necklift Plus. The necklift plus procedure is a combination of the traditional necklift that Dr. Yang performs and the mini-facelift. Dr. Yang believes that in order for the necklift to successfully create a more defined neck and jaw line, it needs to be done in conjunction with a facelift. However, for patients that do not need the traditional deep-plane facelift, often a full necklift is not an option. The necklift plus is such a phenomenal procedure because it includes the platysmaplasty technique used in the traditional necklift procedure, but the deep facial tissues are not manipulated as in the traditional facelift. For many patients this procedure can be done in the office*, with a shorter recovery time than the full face and necklift.

Botox for Jaw Reduction. Dr. Yang has provided many patients with a rounder, more pleasant jaw line through his Botox for Jaw Reduction procedure. By injecting Botox into the masseter muscle (the muscle used for chewing), the muscle relaxes and shrinks in size. Results can be seen in as little as 3 weeks and can last up to 6 months. More.

Incisionless Otoplasty. For patients who wish to change the appearance of prominent ears, unevenly sized ears, or simply change the shape of their ears, the incisionless otoplasty procedure could be their best option. The incisionless otoplasty involves using permanent sutures to alter the shape of the cartilage in the ear. This procedure is done in the office under local anesthesia and involves very little recovery time.

*This procedure may be done in the office depending on the medical history of the patient which will be discussed with Dr. Yang during the initial consultation.
