The Liquid Facelift is a non-invasive procedure performed by Dr. Yang to rejuvenate regions of the face using injectable fillers. Throughout the course of our life our face loses fat volume and skin begins to sag, ultimately causing wrinkles and deeper skin folds as well as gaunt or hollow contours. As an alternative to the traditional surgical Facelift, this procedure provides great results for patients with signs of aging around the eyes, mouth, jawline, and cheek region.

Liquid Facelift Candidate

Patients seeking a less invasive way to improve signs of aging around their eyes and mouth are the best candidates for the Liquid Facelift. This procedure is especially effective at treating smile lines, the deep folds near the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds), and hollowing under the eyes. Depending on the patient, the Liquid Facelift can include using filler along the jawline to smooth fine lines and reduce the appearance of jowling.

About the Procedure

Using fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, Scupltra or Radiesse, Dr. Yang injects areas of the face experiencing significant volume loss. Though this procedure is called a “facelift,” it is important that the expectations of the patient are aligned with the results injectables provide. The Liquid Facelift is performed by Dr. Yang in the office and requires little downtime during recovery.

Because injectable fillers are temporary, this procedure is not a permanent solution for facial rejuvenation. However, for patients that wish to remove volume added during the Liquid Facelift always can have Dr. Yang dissolve the filler.

Recovery

Because multiple areas of the face are injected, there may be some swelling for one to two days after the procedure. Minor bruising and soreness is common, however subsides within a week to ten days. Patients have reported returning to work within a day or two, and can resume normal activities immediately.
